So i'm in the process of getting some new components for my computer and i'm curious if anyone has just transfered an old drive to a new computer. On this drive i have windows xp media center edition so does anyone have any ide if this will work out for me ?

So here's the thing; I tried to flash the BIOS using ASUS's flashing utility and it erased the ROM and flashed it but said it could not verify it. I played CoD4 last night no problem and shut the computer like normal.

Today after work I come home and my computer won't even POST. I push the power button and all it does is power cycle constantly - nothing comes up on the screen. I tried clearing the CMOS ram by removing the battery and switching the jumper, but it is still not booting up.
